H.E.A.T album delayed
The new H.E.A.T album "Freedom Rock" has been delayed and will not be available for purchase onboard. The new release date for the record is May 12, since the band's Japanese and European record labels want to synchronise the release. However, H.E.A.T still promise to include a lot of new material in the set for their Sweden Rock Cruise appearance, it will be possible to pre-order signed copies of the album onboard and the band's new single "Beg, Beg, Beg" will be on sale.
Comments band member Jona Tee:
- Naturally we still want to play, and hang out with everyone who booked cruise tickets to see us, and we hope that our fans, like us, will have the patience to wait another few weeks for the album.

Death Angel (US)
These Bay Area thrashers were all teenagers when their legendary debut "The Ultra-Violence" was released in 1987. Following another couple of successful outings with "Frolic Through the Park" and "Act III", where the band expanded their musical horizons, they seemed destined for the big league when a serious bus accident effectively halted their career. A few years ago they made a surprise comeback, and since then they have been heralded as one of the best live acts of the genre.
Their show on the Sweden Rock Cruise will be their first Swedish show since the early 90's!

If you have the slightest bit of interest for melodic rock you've surely already screamed along with these young Swedes' self-titled debut from 2008 - an album that recently made the top 10 of Classic Rock Magazine's list of "essential 00's melodic albums". If you're a fan of Europe's more melodic stylings, classic AOR and melodic rock, or just like music that makes you feel good -
real good - make sure not to miss this show: the official release party for the band's second album, on board the Silja Galaxy!

Primal Fear are without a doubt one of the biggest and most important melodic metal bands at the moment. The group was formed in 1997 by former Gamma Ray vocalist Ralf Scheepers and Sinner frontman Mat Sinner. Their debut, released the following year, was hailed by many as the best album Judas Priest never made.
The band has since released another seven albums, most recently "16.6 (Before the Devil Knows You're Dead)" in 2009, and their popularity has seen a steady rise with each release. Primal Fear's performance at Sweden Rock Festival 2008 was witnessed by over 10.000 people, but despite this - and the fact that Swedish guitarist Magnus Karlsson has been in the fold since 2008 - their latest tour didn't reach Sweden. But now they're returning again, and if you're a fan of timeless, melodic metal you'd better not miss it!
www.primalfear.de www.myspace.com/primalfearofficial Tony Martin (UK)
Tony Martin joined Black Sabbath in 1987 and during his decade with the band they recorded no less than five albums: "The Eternal Idol", "Headless Cross", "Tyr", "Cross Purposes" and "Forbidden". Today, the first three of these are considered nothing less than heavy metal classics, and last year Tony and his band toured under the monicker of "Tony Martin's Headless Cross" to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the album with the same name.
When Tony Martin now comes to Sweden he does so exclusively for the Sweden Rock Cruise, and he will be joined by, among others, keyboardist Geoff Nicholls, who played live with Black Sabbath for no less than 25 years. The setlist will be packed with songs from the five Black Sabbath albums Tony sang on plus a couple of tasters from his solo career, including material from the latest album "Scream".

The mysterious, "occult", Dutch rock'n'rollers The Devil's Blood have seen such a quick rise to popularity that we suspect they've pulled a Robert Johnson. The band released their first demo in 2007, a seven-inch single plus an EP the year after, and in 2009 their debut full-length "The Time of No Time Evermore" saw the dark of night. Massive praise in both rock and mainstream media followed.
The bands' sound is both ancient and up-to-date at the same time: expect a frenzy of rock'n'roll without modernisms, trends or high-end sounds. Just vintage rock music in the vein of Roky Erickson, Black Widow, Coven, Black Sabbath and a rich plethora of 60's and 70's underground psychedelic rock bands too numerous to mention.
www.myspace.com/thedevilsblood Abramis Brama (S)
You could figure out that Abramis Brama was a non-conformist bunch of rock'n'rollers the moment you heard the title of their first album: "Dansa Tokjävelns Vals" (loosely translated: "Dance the crazy bastard's waltz"). To have lyrics in Swedish was a very odd choice for a rock band formed in 1997, especially for an act whose sound could be compared to 70's Black Sabbath and, naturally, Swedish cult band November.
To the joy of fans and dismay of critics, the bands "exotic" sounding lyrics were a success: the quartet has played at Sweden Rock Festival three (!) times, they've been aired on national radio several times and they've been praised by enthusiastic rock critics and fans alike - especially for their engaging presence on stage.
